1. Getting to the Wiener Stadthalle

    • U6 Burggasse-Stadthalle station: The nearest subway station is only about a 5-minute walk from the venue.
  • Tram:
    • Lines 6 and 18: Stop at Burggasse-Stadthalle – both tram lines bring you close to the hall.
    • Lines 9 and 49: Stop at Urban-Loritz-Platz/Stadthalle – also just a 5-minute walk away.
  • Bus:
    • Line 48A: Stop at Burggasse-Stadthalle, also just a few minutes’ walk away.
Arrival from Vienna Airport

Vienna Airport is about 20 kilometers southeast of Vienna, and the journey to the city center takes about 45 minutes. Here are the best options for reaching the Wiener Stadthalle from the airport:

Option 1: City Airport Train (CAT)

  • Travel time: 16 minutes to Wien Mitte.
  • Continue: From Wien Mitte, take the U3 towards Ottakring to Westbahnhof, then transfer to the U6 to Burggasse-Stadthalle.

Option 2: Suburban Railway (S7)

  • Travel time: About 25 minutes to Wien Mitte.
  • Continue: Take the U3 towards Ottakring to Westbahnhof and transfer to the U6 to Burggasse-Stadthalle.
Where can spectators buy tickets for Wiener Linien?
  • Your ticket to the event counts as a ticket for public transport, to and from the eventlocation.
  • Ticket vending machines: Available at U-Bahn/S-Bahn stations, e.g., at Burggasse-Stadthalle (U6) or Westbahnhof.

Arrival from the train stations

Wien Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station):

  • Connection: Take tram line 18 towards Burggasse-Stadthalle, about a 5-minute walk from the venue.

Wien Westbahnhof (Western Train Station):

  • Walking: About 15 minutes on foot.
  • Subway: One stop on the U6 to Burggasse-Stadthalle.
Arrival by car
  • Märzpark garage: Entrance via Hütteldorfer Straße, 1150 Vienna.
  • Stadthallengarage: Entrance via Moeringgasse or Vogelweidplatz, 1150 Vienna.
  • Lugner City Garage: An alternative, just 5-10 minutes on foot (Address: Gablenzgasse 11, 1150 Vienna).
  • Park & Ride: Use Park & Ride facilities on the outskirts of the city, e.g., in Ottakring, and take the U6 to the Stadthalle.
