The morning sun bathes the grey peaks of the mountains in a golden light. A sight that brings a sparkle to the eyes of visitors and locals alike. In Innsbruck, the mountains are constant companions, even when you are standing at the heart of the fifth-largest city of Austria.

Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, offers an exceptional setting where city, culture, nature and sports come together to delight anyone who wants to explore, enjoy and be inspired. Innsbruck is an internationally renowned winter and summer sports center, and hosted the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics as well as the 1984 and 1988 Winter Paralympics.
